hibernation

when i came back from tour..
i didnt need to go to the magic tree everyday.
and now it is winter... deep dead blue.
the magic tree is sleeping now..and so am i...
lavender richard hoped the magic tree message
would be understood... i hope so too.
and now he is on the other side.
i wonder if he will see my grandpa there.
i will meet him at the tree someday soon
i know i will.

today it was quite sunny (for about 4 minutes)
and i thought the horse looked brilliant
so im sharing him again....
he even sort of sticks out from the rest of the bark.
in person he almost looks soft.

queen elizabeth I in a ghost of a gown...
with a young fire sprite by her side..

my outline of the fire sprite boy is awful i know..
hes much better seen without it
but this helps at least place him.

here is a picture from last week when it was a bit more cloudy...

on second thought this could be titania & puck.
on third thought the little fire sprite appears to have a twin..
or a shadow...like peter pan.

when i was little i had a tiny blue budgie parakeet.
i loved him very much.
one night i had a dream that i got inside his cage
and he put his wing around me and thanked me for all of my care.
and then. swear to god. he flew off over a rainbow!
when i woke up he was dead... but he had said goodbye.

i dropped a little stone in a nest shaped hole in the tree
and then wanting to see what it looked like
i poked my camera in the hole and took a shot.
the black thing is the tourmaline stone i dropped.
but next to it. lo and behold
a tiny blue budgie parakeet!

its my birthday today so we are headed to wales.
no magic tree for two days... but ill be back *^v^*

ps. i should also say i tried to take like 10 more pictures
of the budgie.. but it never resembled a bird ever again.

THE OWL & THE ORB

its like that owl is coming RIGHT for us.
he is really chasing the moth-orb.
do you see the mans eye and cheek on the left?
he even has eyelashes...

ooooh look at the picture on the top..
it has a spirit waving a finger at us...
just poking out from the right...
i guess we should let this owl get back to his hunting.

today i took some new lovely friends to the magic tree.
the magic tree brings people together.

i see diana with her head down ... facing her shoulder...

ok my cousin says she doesnt see what i see..
so.. here just in case:

the weird thing is..
i took a picture in this exact spot a few days ago
and all i could see was the red dragon.
its strange how the hues change...
its like.. different elementals reveal at different times.

ok my cousin doesnt see it still!
is she messing with me?

i also found a phoenix resting against the back of her head.

today i brought another gift to the magic tree.
some labradorite.. i tucked it away in another corner
and stayed under the magic tree for nearly an hour
when suddenly i realized that the little doors in the magic tree
actually go all the way through..
you can only really see this if you are lying down by the tree.
which i have never actually done until today...

also..
ive never mentioned this...
but the magic tree has iron rods inside of it.
i think the park conservationists must have put them there
to stop people from getting inside..
they iron rods are very old and rusted and very bent..
when looking into the elf doors i saw that the iron rods
have made a very special runic symbol.

today as we were approaching the magic tree
we saw our lovely neighbor standing by it.
we sometimes go on walks together
and our dogs are best friends...
so molly and meg headed straight for the magic tree
and paid particular interest to the escape route door.

i decided to follow them and lean in to take a look.
can you believe the little elf holding a crystal!?
he is lying on his side having a nap.
i almost jumped back when i saw him.
look at his little hand!
you could actually see fingers... but my camera is rot!
absolutely unbelievable.
here is another..

we passed the magic tree again on a late night dog walk.
i couldnt resist peeking in on the little guy.
hes safe and sound.
here is a pic with flash...

i just noticed the fairy angel singing lullabies on his right.
maybe you saw her all along... she looks sort of like a hand too.

i saw a red dragon today.
in a place ive looked many times before!
i took several pictures of him.
on only one.... his eye was open....
(a little white spot appeared where his eye should be)
here look....

i think i woke him.

today i saw ganesha the hindu deity.
he is the lord of beginnings...
the lord of obstacles carefully placed
or removed from our path as needed.
ganesha is the base... the root... the beginning.
he resides in the first chakra so his colour is red.
he is identified with the hindu mantra om.

i must remember to say hello to him first when i visit the tree..
but i must admit.. the barn owl generally gets the first greeting...

its the grim reaper and his spirit cat...

tonight we went to the tree after the sun went down...
when we arrived at the tree it was very dark...
inexplicably we were a bit frightened of it.
our dog stopped short and began barking
uncontrollably at the magic tree..
mind you, our dog is generally a non-barker.
none of the pictures came out tonight..
this is a picture from yesterday.

the magic tree is big and hollow.
you and 2 large men could stand upright inside.
i found some egg cartons inside the magic tree today.
i reached in to fetch them and throw them away...
when i looked up,
the magic tree revealed something very very special to me.
the angel inside.

this is the magic tree's window to the world..
we are inside the magic tree..
its like being in a giant skull,
looking out of its eyes...
the sun is in them... so we are squinting...

eyes are a window both ways...
when you dont want someone to see how you feel,
you avoid their eyes...
the magic tree acts like it has nothing to hide,
but the more i know about the magic tree,
i feel the more there is to know.

here is the little open door for elves and foxes at the back..
you can just see the skull at the top inside the door...
(look under the leaf caught in a spiders web)

i left for bristol this morning
but not before taking a walk...
i bet you can guess where...
when i first saw the magic tree,
the first thing i noticed was a little door at the back..
just big enough for a fox or an elf...
when i went to knock on the door to see who might be home..
i thought twice.. above the door is a perfect little skull.
im not trying to be dark
but its my grandpas funeral today
so i thought it fitting..
the little door to the beyond...
if you stare long enough at the right eye
it becomes a 4 leaf clover.
which is fitting because one of my grandpas
favourite songs was "when irish eyes are smiling"

this is the baby barn owl
that guards the entrance to the magic tree.
he can fit right inside the palm of your hand.
he watches out for mice.
but he doesnt eat them.
he only likes to notice.

i cant stop walking to the magic tree.
i do it every day.
sometimes i think about the magic tree at night.
what foxes happened nearby
what stories are in the bark.

the first day i met the magic tree
i put my arms around her.
my boyfriend climbed inside of her.
our dog walked around her.

i think i will be back tomorrow.
my grandpa died today.
which is maybe why im starting this blog...
for grandpas.
